            Information for and from

             the West Station Area

Why you should visit the West Station Area

Coming into Greenock town centre from the Inverkip/Largs direction, the majority of people will pass through the West Station Area, without actually knowing just how much there is available. From a pint of milk to a pint of beer, from a sandwich to a loaf, from a haircut to a holiday, the West Station has a lot to offer.
With good car parking, rail and bus links, why not see what's on offer here at the West Station before you venture into the town centre (which is only a few minutes walk away).
See our shopping page for a list of shops and businesses in the area, you'll be surprised just how much there is.

                      Take Care !!
Safety issues have arisen due to the excessive speed by some motorists whilst turning right from Inverkip Street into Newton Street. On numerous occasions pedestrians have narrowly avoided being knocked down by vehicles as they cross at the designated crossing area which is situated very close to the junction , and are therefore unable to see the oncoming traffic because of the surrounding buildings.Motorists are being asked to slow down and be aware of anyone crossing the road at this junction
